K-Tips
1. Small sections are used
The stylist takes a very small section of natural hair and places the K-Tip strand alongside it.
2. The keratin bond is heated
A specialized extension tool heats the keratin tip until it becomes malleable.
3. The bond is formed around the hair
The stylist molds the softened keratin around the natural hair, creating a small, secure bond.
4. The extensions move with the natural hair
Because they are individual bonds rather than one large weft, K-Tips give a very natural, flexible result and allow for precise placement.

They are also great for customized placement, because hair can be added exactly where it is needed rather than installing a whole row.
Wefts
A weft is a row of extension hair attached to a thin strip at the top. Instead of attaching hundreds of individual pieces, the stylist installs a row of hair at once. For beaded or sewn-in wefts, the basic process is:
- A horizontal section is created in the natural hair.
- Small beads are placed along the section.
- A weft is positioned against the beads.
- The stylist uses thread and/or the bead system to secure the weft to the natural hair.
- The hair is then blended and customized with your haircut.
Some systems use beads and stitching, others use different attachment methods. The exact technique depends on the weft system and the stylist's training and experience.

Your investment includes more than the installation. Your stylist provides the essentials to care for your new hair at home: full-size Eufora shampoo and conditioner, a boar-bristle travel brush, hydrating serum for your ends, and a soft scrunchie.

Caring for your extensions
Your extensions are an investment, and how you treat them at home plays a huge role in how long they stay healthy, soft, and beautiful.
- Brush gently
- Brush regularly with the recommended boar-bristle brush, starting at the ends and working upward. Be especially gentle around attachment points and never pull aggressively through tangles.
- Wash the right way
- Use the recommended Eufora shampoo and conditioner. Focus shampoo on the scalp and keep conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends. Avoid product buildup around attachment points.
- Hydrate the ends
- Use your hydrating serum on the ends regularly. Extensions do not receive natural oils from your scalp, so the ends need extra moisture.
- Prepare for bed
- Gently brush and secure your hair in a loose braid or ponytail with your scrunchie. Never go to bed with soaking-wet extensions.
- Protect from heat
- Heat styling is possible, but heat protection is essential. Excessive heat, chlorine, salt water, and improper brushing shorten the life of extension hair.
- Stay consistent
- Even the highest-quality install cannot make up for improper home care. A few extra minutes a day protects your natural hair and keeps your investment beautiful between appointments.
